As a small, dynamic company, Veermakers can ensure that our values are reflected in everything we do. We are committed to a responsible approach throughout our entire process, from design to development to production.
We create what we call ”slow design” that is timeless, unique, and without compromise. The quality of our work ensures that our pieces are both functional and beautiful, and will be passed down from one generation to the next.
All Veermakers products are carefully created, from sourced tree to final piece, with the highest quality of craftsmanship. All our woodwork is produced in our own carpentries in Stockholm, Sweden, and Fiskars, Finland. By managing these carpentries, we maintain complete control over every step of the production process, from the initial sketch to the final product, ensuring that both materials and craftsmanship meet our uncompromising standards. Our team consists of highly skilled artisans and certified Master Cabinetmakers. Their expertise allows us to innovate, experiment with techniques, and create one-of-a-kind pieces that proudly bear the Veermakers signature of excellence.
At Veermakers, we focus on producing just a few pieces of furniture built with the best techniques and quality possible – the antithesis of mass production. As we strive towards perfection in our work, we continue our efforts toward a better tomorrow. We only work with suppliers who align with our environmental and social goals.
Our timber is sourced both from within and outside the EU, but always from sustainably managed forests. All wood is responsibly sourced and complies with the environmental, social, and economic standards outlined by the Timber Regulation (EUTR) and the Program for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC).
Nature is the source of our premium materials, and as a company, we always strive to limit our impact on it. Through our partners, we plant 25 trees per sold product and donate part of our yearly turnover towards preserving the rainforest ecosystem.
